About Anna
Welcome to my profile!
My name is Anna and I am a Christopher Newport University 2020 graduate. I have a major in psychology and a minor in photography and video art. By obtaining a psychology degree, I have mastered skills such as paper formating and grammar usage. Additionally, as a future elementary school teacher, I have taken classes in lingusitics, childrens literature, and various history classes where a significant amount of writing was involved. I have 80 hours of volunteer experience in a kindergarden classroom and a previous work history of nannying two children with special needs. As well as nannying, I have grown my coustomer service skills by working at CVS since 2017. Based on my experience and education, I feel as though I am best qualified to tutor all grade levels.
As your (or your child's) english tutor, I will be prepared to cater to your personal needs and goals. Each student learns material differently (visual, auditory, etc.). I am knowledgable of the best ways to teach each type of learner and will implement said knowledge in your tutoring sessions. Tutoring sessons with me will be informative, productive, and fun!
