About Brittney
The goal of Brainiac Tutoring Service is offer students support using different learning strategies. In todays day and age technology plays a big part in a child's life. Integrating technology such as different online games and activities and using it as a teaching tool makes the want to learn that much more rewarding.
I enjoy helping studnets achieve academic success. Each milestone a studnet hits is worth celebrating. I enjoy working with younger studnets (3-5) especially because they are more vulerable to learning new skills. Especially at this age they absorb so much, I want to contribute to their growth. Teaching is not just a job for me, it is a lifestyle. Each day is a learning experience.
I got into accidently on purpose I believe. I started out as a Paraprofession in Washington, DC. I wondered how my marketing background would blend with it. I like to say it wa easy. A lot of the tools and things I used during my undergrad I use in the classroom. I like to use the saying, " in marketing the mission is to find creative ways to ge the consumer to purchase the product. With education my product is education and my consumers are my students". So far it has working in many amazing ways.

Building a relationship is first. Getting to know the student on a personal level. Finding out their likes and dislikes can provide ou with informaton that can help you plan lessons. After you have a relationship then an assessment to see where the child is academically is useful.
I have worked with students from the early childhood leverl all the way to the highschool lever. I have been working with early childhood students fo the past 3 years. But, I have experience work with secondary education as well.
Choose a teacher that best fits your needs. You will have to work closely with that person so they need to cater to setting goals for you and setting expectations.
