About Julie
I love the English language and have a great passion for sharing what I know about English to people who don't! I love teaching speaking, writing, editing, and many other English studies.
I have been in the teaching/subbing world for over 30 years. I have a bachelor's in communication and a Master's degree in elementary education; both I got from University of Michigan.
I also went overseas to teach ESL in Thailand. I never wanted to come home but, alas, I had grandchildren!
Teaching is my love and my students are my stars!!

Getting to know them is first. I can ascertain what their learning styles are quite quickly. I begin as slowly or quickly as their learning styles permit. I let my students know how I appreciate their willingness to learn and that we will have the best time possible to learn what they need to know. I also assign homework and spend some time interfacing with parents/relatives etc.
