About Caitlin

I have a wealth of knowledge in elementary education and childhood studies due to my Bachelor and Master degrees.

I began as a dance assistant when I was only 16 years old. At that time, I did not know what I wanted to do for work when I graduated high school. While attending community college I was still teaching dance when I decided to make teaching my profession.

I have always been told that I am a natural born teacher. I always want to help people gain and practice skills so that they may be successful in their endeavors.

I have Masters in Elementary Curriculum and Instruction.

I just finished my 4th year as an elementary teacher!

About the lesson

First, I meet with the parents and student to go over what the needs of the student. Before beginning any tutoring, I get to know my student! What their favorite activities are, school subjects, etc... Building a relationship with students while tutoring or just having that short check in really helps with student success. This meeting is just 30 minutes long and is free of charge.

Academically, I go off the student's needs. I can bring a variety of leveled work to see where they are so I can personally determine if there are any gaps in knowledge or really just where the student needs help.
