About Kristi
I have a passion for writing and want to share that with my students. Some subjects can be hard but I strive to find ways to not only make it easier, but also more enjoyable. I started as a daycare worker that would help students in aftercare with their homework. I also work with preschoolers as a teacher's aide. I decided starting my own tutoring business will help me reach more students in need.
Watching a kid who has been struggling finally grasp a concept or idea is all the reward I need to keep doing what I'm doing. When one of my preschoolers shows me that they wrote their name or one of my older students shows me an essay or short story that they are proud to have written, I know I chose the right line of work.
I have always loved working with children. I started as a babysitter and then a daycare teacher. I have always has a passion for teaching.
I have a Bachelor's degree in English with a minor in philosophy and a Master's in writing. On top of that, I have attended several teaching training sessions on different topics and learning approaches.
