About Aliena
I am a life learner. I have homeschooled my two children, traveled all over the world, and worked as a teacher and attorney. I believe exploring, questioning, and challenging yourself through experiences creates long-term achievement and fulfillment. I serve as a mentor and coach who works with each person as an individual and helps them reach their goals. As part of my journey, I have taught English as a Second Language for 4 years, homeschooled my children for 10 years, served as an assistant district attorney for 5 years, graduated with writing awards from law school, and graduated with Departmental Honors in Literature. I have traveled as far as China and Africa and have taught ages 5 - 65. Welcome!
I genuinely enjoy working with my students. Many, I have worked with for 4 years. Getting to know someone makes teaching them more effective and enjoyable for you both. Building up experiences together makes learning a journey.
