About Jessica

I believe that what makes my service stand out is I genuinely enjoy what I do and I put my whole heart into the children I teach. To me it's not just a job but a passion and a day-to-day experience.

I love working with children and being able to gain an understanding of how to better serve them. I come from a family of teachers and find the joy in simply making the next generation of citizens the best they can be.

I begin teaching in a daycare facility and eventually moved into the school system.

I currently work in Atlanta Public schools system as a paraprofessional and I have worked in the school system for the last five years. I am also in my last year of school to receive my bachelors degree in elementary education. I also have various certificates in language arts through professional development courses.

About the lesson

First getting to know the student and establishing what they know and their deficits. I believe that getting to know and engaging with a child will help not only facilitate a better learning environment but also make the child comfortable.

I have worked with special education children including children who suffer from autism both low and high functioning on the spectrum. And currently I work with pre-K students and in my afterschool program I work with kindergarten through fifth grade.

I recently started the observation portion of school and it is very interesting and developing as a professional.

My normal pricing is $30 for one session no longer than 45 minutes. And a $50 flat rate for an hour or more.
