About Tenzin
We will work together, not pass work at each other. I will make sure you understand the concept of English grammar, or whichever specific problem you come to me with. English grammar can get complicated, but it can be simple too. It all depends on the attitude, with a little bit of hard thinking in the beginning. If you're reading this, that means you're interested enough. You want to improve your grammar or your writing skill, and, congratulations! This is already your first big step toward self-betterment. Now lucky for you, I am here to help.
I am a writer, which means, I immensely enjoy the English language and its infinite capabilities for expression. Grammar is one of the most useful tools for a writer. Despite what most people think, the rules of grammar are not delimiting but they influence your creativity. I like working with the music that is words; I like the nuances of expression conveyed within grammar; I like that there are a few rules that make an English sentence sensible in an otherwise lawless field that is creative writing which I have chosen to do for a living. I am helping you, but really, you're helping me too.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism (Jain University, India) and Creative Writitng (San Francisco State University, California). I worked on SF State campus as an English tutor for fellow college students. I have also been an English coach for non-English speaking immigrants in San Francisco who were preparing for their citizenship interview.
