About Brian
I approach writing and reading with professional experience, creativity and joy. We will focus on the utilitarian basics of grammar as they help us express, comprehend and thrive.
I am a published satire writer, poet and playwright. I have an English degree with honors and am currently getting my Masters in Secondary Education at Lake Forest College.
Let's use an encouraging approach and find the little joys of language along the way.
Teachers are the most important people in my life. There are subjects that I have done well in easily, and subjects I've really struggled in. I feel I understand the challenges young people face in school. I decided to become a teacher after seeing the great work done by teachers I know, including many family members.
