About Ada

As a Ph.D. holder in sociology, I taught at the university for 15 years. I taught social science related subjects to both undergraduate and graduate students. In addition, I have done workshop trainings for high school students. I am skilled at engaging students in critical thinking and in conversation. As a fun teacher, I also know how to make the learning process an entertaining as well as an informative one.

The subjects I can provide assistance include:

I. Writing: This includes writing of all levels, including class papers and essays. With my backgrounds in academia, I can assist with essays for college and graduate school applications. I can also help with cover letters for job applications.

II. Social Sciences: I can provide lesson on subjects related to social sciences subjects, such as sociology, political science, history, etc.

III. I can provide lessons for students with difficulty in English, with both conversation and grammer.

I enjoy working with students and watch them learn and grow. As a lifelong educator, I am passionate about educating people and providing them with the tools they need so they can make progress in their learning. I pay attention to individual differences learning to create appropriate lessons for them. You can teach everyone the same way.

I have a M.A. in International Studies and Women's Studies. I have a Ph.D. in sociology. I taught 15 years at the university. I also do training workshops for nonprofit organizations. I have worked with many students and have over a decade of experiences in teaching and training.

About the lesson

I respect students' individual differences in learning. I ask questions about their learning processes and preferences so I can take those into consideration when i design my lesson plans.
