About Skylar

I have worked with children and parents both at Seven Counties Servies from 3/1997-10/99. I helped with after school programs, helped facilitate groups as well as parenting classes. I also tutored children and often attended school with them as needed. I have also tutored children with school and homework assignments privately.

I have always loved helping people accomplish their goals and seeing them succeed. I have tutored English, Spelling, History, and Math. With both adults and children.

I love working with children and of all the positions I have had, it was working with children that made me the most fulfilled.

I also worked and helped adults. I would assist them with finding jobs and working on social skills. I would often tutor them too as needed

I am a tutor and have tutored children and adults in work as well as private tutoring. I began with SCS in Louisville in 1997.

I have a BS degree in Psychology, which has helped me to be a very good teacher as you are always teaching or helping others to become their best

About the lesson

Getting to know the student and their learning style. We all have our own styles of learning and teaching. I am very patient and approachable. Some students do better learning on their own, while others may prefer having a learning partner.

I have worked with children and adults of various ages.
