About Aisling
I am a biomedical engineer with diverse clinical and research background. I have a weatlh of experience teaching and tutoring high school and college students in introductory physics, calculus and statistics, as well as a passion and knack for writing, editing and history.

I enjoy helping students learn on their own terms. When a student is struggling with a topic, its important to not just explain the way I think about it, but probe their perspective and explore it from their point of view. This method instills a deeper understanding that lasts longer than the assignment in front of them. Usually, I also learn something in the process!
In the past, my teachers and professors have reached out to me to tutor and teach other students that were struggling in their classes.
Education: Biomedical Engineering, B.S. from The George Washington University, 2017
Teaching Assistant: As an undergraduate, worked as a teaching assistant in university physics classes and introductory biomedical engineering classes. Facilitated classroom discussions for deeper understanding of the material.
Private Tutor: Tutored engineering students in core classes such as physics and calculus, tutored middle and high school students in physics, latin and english.
