I like to get a writing sample, and then ask questions to determine where a student feels stuck or unsure.
I worked in the suburbs of NYC with a diverse group of college and college bound students of varying socioeconomic backgrounds, and with ELL students.
I really enjoy dance parties & dogs! Due to covid, I don't go out much but I've really enjoyed catching up on movies & books. Recently, my favorites have included "Station Eleven," "Pandemic 1918," "Barefoot Gen," and "Chernobyl: The Hidden Legacy."
