About Veronica

I am a current credentialed public school elementary teacher who loves helping kiddos learn while having fun! I've been in education for 7 years, and have a lot of experience in teaching reading, writing, and math. I have been tutoring privately for 6 years, have taught intervention and enrichment in the public school setting.

I will get to know each unique student, in order to create lessons tailored to their needs. I will assess kiddos, then create achievable goals, then use a variety of modes of instruction, and then examine the progress, all while having fun!

I have my masters in educstion, have taught multiple grades, and have worked with kiddos with special needs.

I come from a family of teachers, and have loved growing up in their classrooms. I've always wanted to teach since I was a child, and have achieved my dream!

I am a credential elementary teacher and currently teach in a public elementary school.

About the lesson

First, I would get to know the student personally and academically with some assessments and work samples. I will discuss with parents my observations and plan, and listen to their concerns with their child's academics and goals with tutoring. Then, I will create lessons that fit those needs and goals.

I've worked in several districts, all which populations are very unique from one another. I've also worked with kiddos who attend public and private school. Many of my clients struggle with reading comprehension and math. I've always worked with kiddos who needed to keep sharp during the summer in preparation for the following year. I also have experience with kiddos with negative feelings towards learning, with high energy, and with focus issues.
