About Ethan
I am currently attending Naropa University, a school that incorporates mindfulness and contemplative learning into its curriculum. I also have a background in math, chemistry, and writing. By incorporating all of these things together, I hope to offer a comforting and growth oriented environment for students.
Learning is one of the most important parts of being human! It makes me happy to enhance such a special part of life.
Graduated valedictorian in 2017 at Redmond Proficiency Academy. Taken math classes up to Calc 1. Up to college level chemistry. I attend Naropa University where I engage in environmental studies and education around social justice. This combination of disciplines allows me to be flexible in what I can offer students while still maintaining a high level of rigor and engagement.

The first step in the tutoring process is gaining an understanding of eachother's interests and learning styles. Especially as a tutor, it's important for me to understand a student's strengths and weaknesses and act accordingly. From here, we will dive into the student's course material. What are we working on? After gaining understanding, my aim is to have student's be able to teach or explain the information to someone else. This depth of understanding is crucial to a student's success.
