About Sarah
My first aspiration was to become a author- I fell in love with writing and developed my own voice. I studied the classics as an English Literature major and my writing style matured as I did. I have since been published, and my newest aspiration is to become an English teacher so I can apply my knowledge by helping students succeed. In school I have tutored my peers in composition and helped them with research papers. I stand out from other English tutors because I like to teach students the history of the texts so they have a deeper understanding of their meaning. I also help the student translate older texts into modern language so they are easier to understand. I can assist students from elementary to college in writing, reading, the study of literature, grammar, test prep, and European History.
I enjoy seeing students meet their goals and get good grades. I like being apart of their creative process in writing papers, and fostering a love of reading they might not of known they had.
