About Evan
- Recent graduate from the University of Notre Dame with a B.A. in Economics, Political Science, and Spanish. 3.87 GPA.
- Previous experience: tutoring student athletes at Notre Dame, tutoring for ACT preparation, and tutoring adult learners.
- I am excited to help students overcome academic challenges!
I have always enjoyed tutoring-at every level. I began my tutoring career by helping 1st graders with reading. I then tried my hand at tutoring adults in math at a homeless center in my hometown. As a college student at Notre Dame, I helped student-athletes with their economics courses. As I begin my professional career in the area, I'd like to continue to help with topics that I have some level of expertise: math, social sciences, standardized testing preparation, and Spanish.
In May 2021, I graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Economics, Political Science, and Spanish from the University of Notre Dame. I take math classes at Northern Virginia Community College to bolster my math skills, and I work as a consultant in the DMV.

I try to get an understanding of the particular challenge or difficulty that the student is encountering. Then, with the student, I create a plan of action, which takes into account the frequency of the tutoring sessions, the level of difficulty of the course, as well as the student's mastery of the material.
