About Ahyanne
As a student myself I completely understand how difficult learning in a classroom setting can be. I provide a one on one experience tailored to the student's needs and learning style. I intend to nurture a love for learning and for the subject matter of the tutoring sessions.
I am a Senior at Howard University and since my sophomore year I have been a tutor in our learning center. I have also previously been a private tutor for several high school students in order to improve their history, math, and SAT skills.

My first goal would be to establish a trusting relationship with a new student as I believe trust and a level of comfort are required to foster a proper learning environment. Next we would have to figure out precisely what area of the subject matter they need the most help with. Lastly I would create a plan tailored specifically to their learning style and from there we would engage in a efficient and helpful learning environment.
