About Joseph
My greatest passion is teaching, but engineering comes close. I struggled with math when I was younger because of limited resources and missing out on the right kind of perspectives. As I worked through higher level math classes in high school and worked on my B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, I realized math wasn’t the issue, the way that I viewed it was.
I have 3 methods in teaching mathematics:
1. Simply, simplify, simplify
2. Practice until it seems too simple to forget
3. Apply it to real world problems
I’ve applied these strategies with great success at my own work, with fellow engineers. If I can do it, so can you!
