About Dylan
Personalized and individually crafted instruction. Discovering the joy in drumming is the most important thing, and my number one goal will be to show that to each student - in the hope drumming will become a lifelong passion and help form a sense of identity for each student.
Happy to discuss lesson plans, goals, genres, and composition with students. Genres will largely follow interests of the student, but outside influences will also be introduced to broaden their drumming vocabulary.
I have been drumming for over 11 years, and have had many different instructors over the years. I'm excited to share what I have learned with my students!
I have worked with children as a teacher for the pacific science center, and am happy to work with all age groups! I currently also work as a property manager for a local university, and can provide references if desired.
I have a bachelor of science degree from the University of Washington. However, I find myself constantly being pulled back into the world that becoming a competent musician creates. I have been drumming for over 11 years, and have been in and out of different bands over the years. My most recent band consisted of touring the west coast, playing small shows along the way
