About Bill
I love to see students motivated to learn. When they realize that hard work & having fun can yield a better performance. I focus on being a drummer that plays "musically", and teach this. I teach how to "play in a band". That is why we want to play. I teach the basics of reading, but more importantly the focus is the music and performance.
Ive been playing for 20+ years , this includes all styles of music. Ive played in a variety of bands, in addition to leading my own band.
Ive always been a natural teacher. I love connecting with students and share in their journey to musicianship.
I am a "live player". That s the goal. to get my students to the place of confident performance.

I was self taught and started at age 13. I started out listening to music and playing along. I slowly improved. It was not until i got my first lesson(s) at age 21 when my playing really improved, and i began to rapidly develope into a serious musician. I wish i would have gotten lessons when i started...
