About William
I have over 25 years of playing and writing. I play many instruments but am most comfortable teaching drums. You will be taught rudiments before any drum set work. You will be taught correctly. And I'll throw in a song u want to learn at each lesson after you get to drum set level. But you WILL need to practice playing traditional rudimental technique first. Which means sticks,practice pad,and effort. It's a lot more fun than it sounds and you will have that proper technique and knowledge over other "drummers" we will negotiate price per half hour.

Too many years to count hitting things with sticks feet and hands. Played all thru school and continued lessons after. Played in many bands that were for a need to make music mostly. I write music. I don't JUST play drums. This helps tremendously when. It comes to understanding the role drums playing in a song

Ask the student to play for me to assess skill level. Then go from there. I won't compromise lessons for reasons the student WILL appreciate later on. Drumming is fun and always should be but there is work and sacrifice for that fun.
