Mr. Morales is an amazing teacher, role model, and human being. He taught me all of my fundamentals and truly showed me a great appreciation for music. This man is an absolute legend. You could walk up to Rick knowing nothing about drums and walk away playing rattamatatamaques at 150 bpm no problem. He’s insanely dedicated and passionate about what he does and always makes sure you’re having a good time doin what you’re doin. He might call you a fish or a bonehead sometimes but it’s all outa love, and everything like that🤪. He’s the best, for sure.

Rick has been working with me for the past 5 years. He has an extensive knowledge of all types of percussion, including drum set. Probably Rick’s best attribute is he is great with our students.

mr morales is super friendly and super laid back. his chill teaching style is super effective and it helped me progress quickly in the 3 years i had him in middle school. we had a lot of fun learning music on drums and keyboards and he helped to make it super easy to pick up basic rudiments and common rhythms. with his help, i earned 9 superior medals in the district solo and ensemble competition. even when i aged out of middle school he was one of my biggest supporters in continuing percussion into high school and i dont regret staying in band all four years one bit

He is very patient and has a way of connecting with his students. My three sons took lessons with him for many years. One on guitar and two on percussion. He teaches in way the students find fun and not a chore. One of my son's has autism and Rick did a great job of teaching him how to play snare drum for 3 years of middle school. Rick was our private music teacher for about 5 years. He was also the percussion clinician at their middle school, Silver Trail MS in Pembroke Pines. He has helped produce MANY excellent musicians in this area. I strongly recommend him.

Rick is super chill and fun to work with, but at the same time he knows what he’s doing. He has crazy chops and knows how to work in marching style, but also can play serious drum set grooves. Overall great guy, you’ll love playing with him and you’ll be the better for it.

I have had the privilege of learning percussion under Rick’s guidance for over six years. He is extremely knowledgeable about every percussion instrument, and his specialties include snare drum and drum set. He has had an immense amount of experience teaching all ages, and he has worked with and studied under masters in percussion throughout his career. On a personal level, Rick is really down-to-earth. He is caring, patient, is extremely passionate about helping one grow into a mature musician and better person. I can’t recommend Rick enough for anyone interested in improving their musicianship as a percussionist. He is the best in the business!

Rick is a great teacher who is serious about learning while also maintaining a humorous and positive attitude. Learning with him is great since it allows me to have fun while learning. He also has a personal way of teaching that varies with each student to help them excel with their goal!
