About Greg
In my lessons, you will learn much more than just rhythms and drum patterns. I strive to inspire each student to explore their full potential in all facets of their lives, not just music. What you will remember from my teachings are real life, transferable skills of goal setting and time management. You will leave each lessson feeling fulfilled and inspired, all while simply having fun playng the drums!
What I enjoy most about playing and teaching music is it's universal tendency to bring people together. Fun and entertainment is always the ultimate goal with music, so I aim to stay true to the spirit of shared happiness. My enjoyment when teaching is learning more about life, ourself, and each other through musical practice. I truly believe it is life's greatest joy!
I have been playing music professionally in Austin and globally for the past 5 years. I am also currently finishing a degree in Music Performance at Austin Community College. I have been to countless seminars, camps, classes and workshops at institutions like CSU Northridge and The University of Texas for over 10 years.
