About Rhonda

As a practicing Art Instructor, I've taught at local Craft Stores. Now that the social environments have become virtual-I'm looking to start doing the lessons online. By doing Zoom sessions I'll be able to pace the students and not cause them to be time-stressed. The lessons require a student to provide their own supplies.

I've enjoyed seeing my students grow with the experience they acquire. It's also, therapeutic to me to paint.

I've taught Beginners Fine Art Classes at Michaels Art Supplies from 2008-2010. I've painted and won awards and honorable mentions through-out the years. I was Treasure of the Elmore County Art Guild from 2014-2016. A member of the ECAG for years, now.

About the lesson

I provide them the necessary materials list for the lesson coming up. Provide them with the process and the time it will take. I may ask them to pre-treat the canvas for the best results for the paint to take. I work on building a good relationship with the student.

Children from 5-12 and Adults.

Love the experience first! Practice what has been taught at least every week. You will become better in time.

I have a student who worked through all my lessons to receive the 4-lesson surprise gift, provided by me. She now does an awesome job of freelancing her art skills, I've taught her.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Make sure the group your pulling together, for the class, is close in age. The class will be directed to the age group you provide to me. Less time for smaller children, short instruction time, and don't expect the child to do a Masterpiece.

At this time, I don't have a standard pricing system. This is going to be a process for me to learn what the cost for these lessons will be for me vs. the income received. Once that is done the prices will increase as needed.
