About Cindy
I've been teaching arts for 15 years, and really enjoy helping people exceed their personal goals. Each person has a unique learning style and experience base, my job is to collaborate with you to help you grow.
I love it when a student is amazed at the work they have created, when they surprise themselves at their own abilities. It is also very rewarding for me for me because I get to challenge myself with every unique student...What drives them? How can I help them improve? What skills can I share which will translate to their future work? What are their road-blocks?
I have a B.S. in applied Art and Design. I've worked as a professional Graphic Designer for many years, then became a certified Master Instructor teaching at my own studio.

First, I like to find out what the goals of the student are. Those can vary from wanting to successfully complete one project, all the way to becoming professionals or teachers themselves. Each goal will determine the program and exercises I recommend.
Next, I like to discuss previous experience (if any) and see some current work.
It is also important to talk about how the student likes to learn. Some prefer demonstrations, some like theory, and others learn best by doing. Every situation is different!
