About Pam
Hi! My name is Pam Fries. I am an Artist and Author. Some of my works are hanging in The Blue Whole Gallery in Sequim and are available on my website PamFries.com as well as fineartamerica.com
I am retired. In my working life I taught school, worked in a grocery store, owned my own ceramics painting studio and homeschooled my children for many years.
I love connecting with people and I hope to be able to connect with you.

What is exciting to me is to see the progress and confidence people have after working on improving their skills. Artistic skill can be achieved by anyone. Everyone is capable! We just have to learn the skills and practice regularly. People are not born being good in art. We all started chewing on crayons!
I have taught public school, private lessons, group lessons and classes.

About the lesson

I evaluate where the student is. The first lesson includes 15 minutes of evaluation. The lessons include drawing since that is the first step to producing a painting. I will present the concept, answer questions with demo if that helps then give an assignment. The next class is assessment and critique. Depending on time we will start the process over again continually challenging the student to push themselves to the next skill level.
