About Laurie
Online Art Class through Zoom. During this time of isolation I am teaching online. It works well, just a little differnt than in person. I teach adults or children.

My best day is when I see the smile and amazement on a students face as they see the success they’ve had. When they realize learning how to make art is very attainable!
I have taught art for over 30 years and love every minute of it. From planning, to teaching, to celebrating each student. I teach ages 7 to 99 years old.
Making art is a process! It's a joyful experience with me!

I’ve always loved art and took the opportunities that came up. Private lessons, private groups, and in the schools, museums, and galleries.
I founded the Community School of Arts in Ellensburg WA and taught there for seven years.
Mom currently teaching through Meetup in PENSACOLA, FL
BFA in Fine Arts at Central Wa University. I earned my degree when I was 55 after raising four children. I have taught art for over 25 years. It’s definitely my passion!

I teach painting, drawing and collage art, as well as the use of many other techniques and materials.
