About Blue Lotus

Classically trained visual artist with a focus on expanding consciousness and sparking thought provoking conversations. I believe within each individual lie gifts and even latent talents that could be used for the betterment of all. The mission of Blue Lotus Artistry is to function as a source for like minded individuals that collaborate to show the true power of letting our imaginations bloom. My goal is to use these gifts, skills and talents to influence positive change in our world.Our personal growth will create new perspectives that enhance how we treat each other globally, the planet and influence positive change in every aspect of life. Every work of art and service provided is rooted in planting seeds of unity consciousness, promoting self actualization worldwide through demonstrating the power of imagination.

Here you will find coursework in learning the fundamentals of fine art & design and learn to create your own unique style. I've taught people of all ages to paint and draw for 4 years now in classes as big as 30 people or on a one on one basis.

I actually started by teaching my siblings and younger cousins how to draw and paint. Soon after I began hosting paint parties and teaching people of all ages how to paint.

I took advanced coursework in Fine Art & Design since I was 12 years old and began freelancing at 15. I thuroughly enjoy sharing what I have learned about art through training and experimentation with others. It is a thrill to see people create in ways they never imagined before.

About the lesson

Art is about self expression. My goal is to help my students understand and learn to express thier inner voice through whatver creative means is best suited for them. With a wide range in understanding different mediums and extensive trainging in fine art teaching them the skills and techniques is the the easy part. It becomes a mission to show each student how you use the creative and logical minds in tandum through various exercises and ultimately how to translate a concept or feeling onto a canvas.

I've worked with students generally with beginner experience of all ages.

If you're looking to learn from someone Id say the main thing is to look for someone in which their art inspires you! In art there is no right or wrong way to do it. It's all about expression and experimentation. There are many techniques that do different things with different mediums and I aim to teach you the ins and outs and help you cultivate something unique to you. Most of all ITS SUPPOSED TO FEEL GOOD!

I've just recently moved to NYC from Florida and I have to say I am LOVING it! The people here truly understnad the importance of creativity and it shows!

Details

The overall rule is $1/minute. I enjoy teaching so I am willing to work around budgets especially for ongoing sudents. The more classes you take I am willing to create somthing special for eah student. Students who Travel to me I will provide most of the materials unless otherwise noted.
