Training in medical illustration at Loyola University, masters in education. Teaching art for 26 years.
I expect my students to have a aha moment in every class.
i am an educated teacher. I have taught everything from Montessori school through college courses.
I attended Loyola to study fine art and medical illustration, have numerous published pieces mostly commercial art, I have a masters in education in fine art and science.

I like to find out about my students interests and favorite medium. For beginners we start with shading and highlighting techniques. For more advanced or experienced students we go through reference materials and choose something to work on.
Sketching is a good start but I am open to my students opinion.
I have a lot of patience.
