About Sanjana
Ever since I was young, art has always been one of my passions. It still is to this day. It serves as a way to express emotions and expand horizons. With art, the sky is not the limit. I believe that anyone is capable of succeeding in art as long as they have the passion for it. It has been proven that art not only encourages creative thinking, but it also boosts self esteem by creating a sense of accomplishment. I have been enrolled in art courses for 5 years, so I have experience with numerous techniques and styles. I enjoy spending time with kids and hope to spark their interest in the beauty of art!
I started hosting weekly art classes at my house last summer, and realized how it really sparked an interest in kids. I hope to produce the same affect in my future students as well.

Generally, I like to keep a binder of possible samples to choose from to draw or paint. If the student has something in mind they would like to draw, I am comfortable with doing so as well. I also like the use different mediums depending on the child's interest.
I have worked with students in elementary and middle school. I usually prefer children ages 5-12.
