About John (Jack)
I am retired. In the 70s I was a commercial artist with the St.Petersburg Times and Evening Independent (now The Tampa Bay times). I taught drawing at St.Petersburg Junior College. I retired from the Tampa Tribune commercial printing department. I enjoy seeing young people get away from their electronic tablets to draw for fun makes me happy. I married a lady three years ago who I met in first grade and we live in Lebanon, TN.

ople of all ages start drawing for fun. I haven't taught for over 30 years and would enjoy sharing my knowledge.

In the past it was classroom. I would prefer one on one. I want to see what the student would like to do and what they can do then develop abilities from that point.
I like to start with pencil work then from that point do what interests them.
