About Susan

Artsy Fartsy Art Lessons offers children and adults alike low cost, high quality art lessons that have students exploring various styles of creating art in painting, drawing, sewing and knitting.

I have my Bachelors in Fine Art from Florida International University with my area of concentration in Painting with a minor in Art History as well as Art Education. I also taught in public schools in Florida for 11 years and currently Art Docent for the Kent School District.

About the lesson

Classes are 75 mintues in length and are chunked into segments. These segments include explaining the project, working on the first portion of the project, explaining the second step, completion of project and then a critique.
