Excellent teacher, engaging, and brilliant!

He gave me all the tools I needed to pave my own way in Graphic Design. His teaching, feedback, guidance, and encouragement really stuck with me. His teaching style was perfect for me, I suffer from severe Narcolepsy (sleeping disorder), and his class was they only one I looked forward too. And like 3/20 teachers I can remember who knew how to work with me, and encourage me, despite falling asleep uncontrollably all the time. He said I was really creative and said it often enough that I believed him. I also vividly remember him working hard to obtain some super legit certification, and I always wondered why work so hard to get this title to do what you already do. Now I get it, he was determined to be the best teacher he could possibly be, and we all reaped the benefits of having such a passionate and dedicated instructor. The proof is in the pudding. Now I run a photography business, on retainer with a health care company, and photo editor for a multi-million dollar company.(StartUp Health) I owe a great deal of that success to Mr. Mann. He showed me how awesome art could be, and how awesome I could be. Best of all he showed me how to go make it myself, and here I am.

Jonathan was my cousin's teacher. My cousin would spend a lot of time with Jonathan, and confided in him. Jonathan gave my cousin the opportunity to paint a mural for our highschool. My cousin brought me along. Although I wasn't Jonathan's student, he still treated me like I was. I learned a lot from Jonathan and he inspired me. He takes the time to understand everyone he works with, and brings out the best in people.
