About Zoe
I am Zoe Zhang, a teacher assistant work for a classical painting class at Irvine Chinese School and a senior goes to Portola High School who always wanted to become a professional art teacher. I have spent a lot of time working in painting, drawing, and teaching and I am ready to take my experience and skills to a career that will challenge and fulfill me.
My experience at Irvine Chinese School Classical Painting Class will make me a great fit for a painting teacher because this position has strengthened my listening, thinking, and communicating. While my time in teaching has taught me more than what I was able to give to my kids, I also realized the effort required to study my students before I could help them learn the material and the personal growth I had to experience daily (sometimes hourly) to become a better teacher.
In addition to enriching the minds of future artists, I want to spread art as simply a source of beauty to those who might not have the chance to think about such things. The enlightenment of art has a huge effect on my childhood because it gave me a way to understand things such as nature and emotion from a very young age. I would like to convey this method through my career in art teaching to make more people find happiness and dream.
Being an art teacher will be the perfect way to combine my love for painting and my passion for teaching. I would love the opportunity to meet with you to further discuss how my experiences, techniques, and qualities would be assets to the art teaching program.
I enjoy using different media to transfer ideas on different materials.
