About Victoria

I'm a figurative artist originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I have my art studio by downtown Evanston and have been teaching privately for a number of years. My work focuses on the human form, using different mediums. I started with oil painting, then moved to acrylic & mixed media, and back to oil and other mediums.. My background is in Drawing with a focus on shapes & forms. I graduated from the Fine Arts University in Argentina, and have also studied privately both in my hometown and in Germany, where I lived for some time. You can see my art at (concealed information)

Art is my passion. I've been drawing since I can remember and I still do so. I'm passionate about work and what I do, and I like sharing any knowledge I have..

I've had a few great mentors throughout my life, both in argentina & Germany and I value that relationship and consider it very important in ones formation.

I have a Masters in Drawing from the Fine Arts University in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I also studied under several artists both in my hometown and in Germany as well. I’ve studied Anatomy from a very young age, worked for many years with live models, before starting using mostly photography. I worked in a darkroom developing my own photos for several years, which I used as a resource for my paintings. I also do photography and love working with other artists, like writers, musicians, and so on.

About the lesson

I like having an initial interview and assess where the person is at, what his/her goals are and discuss how we’ll approach classes depending on the various and specific needs.

I work with both adults and young adults mostly.

I’d recommend any student to check out the teacher’s artwork, their website, and see if it’s appealing first. If possible, have an initial interview and visit the art studio, see the work in person and meet with the potential teacher to see if he/she seems like a good fit.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
it’s important to bring up any specific goals they might have. Background questions about the future teacher are also pertinent & important, as well as sharing any experience the student might have in the field.
