About Sarah
I work with the creative process.
I help my students explore their lives, develop observational skills, and be more of who they are through painting and drawing. The art processes are the vehicle to greater self understanding.
I have a BFA in painting as bd printmaking from the University of Georgia and am a practicing artist.The creative process is fascinating to me.
I've worked with many, many students all over Athens from the Lyndon House to the Georgia Center for Personal and Professional Development (10 yrs). I also worked as painting facilitator for 17 + years at the Loran Smith Center for Cancer Support.I worked there in a similar role to an art therapist with cancer patients and survivors. I have also held classes on my own and taught private students.
I believe we all have a creative voice and I do my very best to bring it out of each student.
