About Linda
I am an art teacher . I've worked with students of all ages. I've worked in the same district for 18 years and taught community college
I really like working one-on-one with beginning art students. My focus is on skill and learning the principles of art so that my students can have their own voice. Emphasis is on step by step directions and application of learned knowledge.

First I like to see their work (if they have any). Next I like to create objectives and a plan for meeting their objectives. Next I want to share lots of resources/images/famous works of art. Then, have weekly critiques to look at their successes and answer questions. Finally, help them develop their own style for making art.
