About Dean
Dean uses bold color and strong composition to create asthetically stimulating art. He teaches his students how to express their inner images in a way that excites and stimulates those that view their art as well.
Dean has been a student and practiioner of drawing and painting for over forty-five years. He was invited to take a course in oil painting in college where was infected with the artist virus.
Dean studied at with Norman Rockwell's Famous Artist School. He took color concepts at Columbus College of Art and Design and studied with professional artist David Wolf, Rod Lawrence and Dr. Richard Harsh. Dean has taught at local gallery/studio locations and in private school setting.
Dean has shown art in various galleries and venues through out the greater Richmond, VA area as well as select galleries in the Traverse City, MI region.
