About Toni

Toni began her Dance Trance journey in Orlando, FL in 2009 as a member and quickly became addicted! After moving to Georgia in 2011 and not finding anything like Dance Trance - she decided to bring the global franchise of the dance fitness craze to Rome - the only Dance Trance fitness studio in GA!

Toni was diagnosed with MS in 2003 but she hasn't let that slow her down. In fact, she attributes her energy and mobility to staying positive, active and dancing!

Toni enjoys bringing the joy of dance to those that are "never ever dancers or beginners" or used to dance in their younger days and miss it. Together with Dance Trance and TAPfit, Toni is able to share the joy of low-impact dance and tap routines to anyone of all capabilities and level of experience.

After relocating from Florida to Georgia and realizing that there wasn't a dance fitness class that was comparable to Dance Trance offered in the local area, I decided to bring the love of dancing to NW GA.

I have taken/taught Dance Fitness classes for the last 11 years. I am certified to teach Dance Trance choreography as well as TAPfit routines.

About the lesson

In meeting with a student for the first time, I get to know what they are looking to get from Dance Trance and what their current limitations are. If modified movements are required in a dance routine, I am able to show them an alternative way to complete the move so they can keep dancing - whether they are standing or sitting in a chair.

Children to adults of all ages and levels of fitness and capabilities.

DT Kids Summer Jam Camp - taught kids the love of dance and rhythm with Rip Stix.

TAPfit - Teaching beginning tap routines to mature teenagers (adults).
