About Matthew

Want to feel comfortable dancing socially? Want to be a serious competitor? I can teach you! The most important and unique aspect of Ballroom Dancing is learning the non-verbal language of lead and follow; This aspect, more than any other, not only is THE fundamental tenant of my teaching and approach- but what makes dancing with a partner a truly beautiful, rewarding, and awesome experience.

So many aspects of ballroom dancing are appealing for many reasons, but one thing that really stands out to me is that ballroom dancing significantly alters the course of your life in a substantial way. The confidence, the poise, and the enhanced ability to communicate that one attains throughout this pursuit naturally permeates through all other facets of one’s life. When you begin to gain agency over your body, and behavior, there is simply no aspect of you that remains unaffected. This alone would make dancing a worthwhile activity, but bizarrely enough it enriches your relationships as well! Your work, your hobbies, your attitude, and your LIFE all will show unmistakable improvement.
