About Flora
I have been teaching dance for about five years to many different kinds of students. I have taught ages 6-adult in disciplines such as ballet, contemporary, and musical theatre.
I also teach conditioning classes or dance fitness calsses.
I am incredibly passionate about teaching and always try and find new ways for my students to learn and be excited about dance.
I want dance to be enjoyable and accessible to everyone no matter their age or how they look or how long they have danced. everyone should be able to learn in a happy environment and gain confidence in a new skill.

When working with a new student I like to start with a slow class of fundamentals to see what knowledge they already possess and or what gaps we can start to fill in.
It is important for me to assess the student to ensure their movement patterns are safe and not prone to injury.
From there we will speak about goals the student wishes to accomplish and make a plan to move forward.
