About Maura

I have benefited from the mind-body connection of Pilates work and I am passionate about making it accesible to every body I work with. I am currently being trained in Contemporary and Classical Pilates. I appreciate that the contemporary approach provides modification and variations for everyone to ensure safe, comfortable and effective practice.

About the lesson

To prepare for our first session together, I will inquire about your goals, lifestyle and physical needs. I work through a pain free lens of pilates (nothing we do should be causing pain) and plan sessions that support your needs and alignment. Before we begin each session I check in with my clients regarding their energy levels and how their body is feeling that day. I partner with my clients to best serve each individual.

Someone you are comfortable with. A teacher who approaches the session with calm energy and with confidence in their knowledge and passion for pilates; and confidence in every person's knowledge of their body.
