My Girlfriends and I decided to have a cooking weekend at 1796 House - Inn At The Ridge... We wanted to start off basic... Salvatore' showed us how to sharpen a knife and we prepared a few Italian items... A rich tomato sauce from scratch. Meatballs prepared fresh from ground beef, pork and veal...Salvatore' was a gentleman and as I over cooked the meatballs a little, my friends cooked them perfectly....
We did this is a 4 hour process... Salvatore' brought out a crusty bread we thought he purchased from a bakery, but he made it before we arrived... Thanks Salvatore'..We will return to learn bread making next time... Oh the dessert - Strawberries with a reduced Balsamic was crazy good...
