About Jessica

Cakes, Cookies And Creations is a home based bakery business that makes all products from scratch; we offer free delivery, free tastings for special occasions like weddings, important birthdays, anniversaries and such. We also offer free consultations and free table set up.

The owner Jessica DeJarnett has been as pastry chef for 13 years and prides herself on her customer service skills, passion for the trade, and the love for her clients. With Cakes, Cookies and Creations, Jessica donates her time and product to many things needed for her small community for fundraisers, charities that she is passion about or teaching classes for others to learn her craft.

I’ve had employees and clients that have fallen in love with my product, and wanted to learn how to do what I do.

I went to Culinary school and graduated with an associates degree back in 2005, on the job training as being a pastry chef for 13 years.

About the lesson

Finding out what my students cooking or baking skills are, by asking basic questions, testing knife skills, asking the different methods of mixing when it comes to baking.

High school students, culinary students, graduates and culinary professionals as well as cooking beginners

Ask lots and lots of questions. Come prepared with a pen, sharpie and paper. There is no stupid questions and if you don’t understand the first time, ask again until you understand it. Cooking is a passion and baking is a science, you need to understand that passion and that science to be great.
