About Leonard
Passionate Chef and owner of Arbor Restaurant in Logan Square Chicago. Fifteen years of progressive experience in international fine dining restaurants have provided me the space to deepen my knowledge, build and hone skills in a wide array of culinary subfields.
I have a solid understanding of nutrition and food as it relates to health, and fitness. Sustainable, high quality ingredients are at the backbone of my cuisine and inform all dishes that I work through.
Other areas of focus and expertise : family meal planning, quick meals, and and all "diets" GF, DF, nut free, FODMAP, KETO,
and...most importantly, education on how to uncomplicate good eating
Everything, anyone with whom I work can vouch for my enthusiam and those meeting me for the first time are always talking about food within minutes. The passion for my craft is what makes me wake up with a smile, and an intent to create some thing new and delicious everyday.

Full scope lessons! This was easily the most interesting, informative and educational experience i've had in years. I wanted to learn about soups, stocks, and braising. We cooked and talked for hours, and at the end, enjoyed amazing short ribs, potato pave, and roasted veggies...
I can't wait until the next lesson. Chef Leonard was an amazing source of knowledge around culinary history, culture, nutrition, and more. Loads and loads of prep, shopping, and money saving tips too!
