About Matteo
As a recent college graduate, I spent 3 years as a teaching assistant in for my university's CS I & II courses. I offered guidance and perspective on difficult concepts, and helped students work through course material in a way that allowed them to process the information, and gave them the tools to tackle future assignments with confidence.
In addition to this, I spent two years as a student mentor for my former elementary school's robotics team. There I had the opportunity to develop my skills working with children, and was able to guide them through projects and "missions" for the FIRST LEGO League competition.
I aim not only to explain the concepts I help students with, but challenge them to develop their understanding on a broader sense, so that they are capable of and confident in their ability to tackle difficult material in the future.
