About Thomas

I moved from a poor thai highschool to an international one with poor english, science and math knowledge. However I learnt to build myself up to eventually get a computer science degree (with almost a minor in mathematics but according to my universities rules Id have to stay an extra 2 terms to make up for credits). If you want a teacher who has had a long struggle to understand maths and abstract topics but eventually overcame A level and GCSE maths with a B+/A grade. Please consider me.

I taught my friends for free. As I mentioned before, I struggled with so many topics in highschool but I learnt to overcome them with strong study techniques and sharp focus in class. Therefore I taught my friends what we learnt in class previously or recently for free.

I then taught other university students who I made friends with over the years for free. In the classes I have already taken, all the practical knowledge and how to use them in more advanced classes.

Tutored at university for multiple students. Some who never showed up to class but still passed with a B/A grade.

I have got a bachelors from Mahidol University International College. Which is considered as one of the best universities (if not the best) in Thailand. With a degree in Computer Science and a heavy focus on applied mathematics, I feel comfortable teaching anything mathematical.

About the lesson

Seeing what thier school curriculum is like, then seeing what the student may be struggling with. On top of this, helping them review thier current/previous topic and topics in a condensed, applicable way. I want to prepare the student for the world and for an easy start at university, not just to pass exams.

If during an exam week, the student may want to spend extra time with me to study for thier exams. I would happily offer to go over past exams and go through grading schemes. Teaching techniques that would help tell the grader what the student is trying to say in a condensed, un-mistakable way.

University students and highschool GCSE year 11-12

Look for one with knowledge in applied mathematics.

Helping one of my close friends a few days a week to teach him cal 1 in the 2nd trimester of university. He passed with an A and has said to everyone that it would have been impossible without my help.

Standard pricing would be around 1000 baht per session. We can convert this to any currency that your country provides. 1 session would last around 50 minutes - 1 hour. I am willing to go over time for free if I or the student feels like they need a little bit more help trying to understand complex topics.
