About Artur
Hi! My name is Artur Mamedov. I graduated with a major in Mathematics/Statistics and worked as a Computer Science and Math teacher for 3 years and I've worked as a private tutor for 5 years. As a teacher, I've taught various classes from middle school computers 6-8, AP Computer Science Principles, AP Computer Science A, and various math classes. Every year, I've had over 70% of my students get a 4 or 5 on the AP exam and my math students perform highly on their standardized tests. There is always a stigma that comes with math and computers: it's intimidating, it's hard, it's not my thing, I can't do it. I think the most important part of learning these subjects is to break through that stigma, so I always make sure that there is a sense of confidence when working through the material. You might not leave love it, not everyone does, but you will leave knowing that it will always be open to you if you want it.
