About Natalie
I am a current Computer Science student at Northwestern University. I am happy to teach programming concepts and help students learn to develop and debug their own programs. I can also help with homework assignments and prep for standardized exams. I'm happy to work in any object oriented programming language e.g. Java, Python, etc.
I genuinely enjoy helping others learn.
I have been tutoring since I was in high school. I have also been a peer mentor for classes in college. I'm well versed in breaking down difficult concepts and abstractions into simple basics that anyone can learn. At Northwestern University, I have an overall GPA of 3.7/4.0 and a Computer Science GPA of 3.9/4.0

First we go over our goals. We figure out what we want to accomplish by the end of the session, or over the course of multiple sessions. Then we break down concepts, assignments, and programming languages into smaller manageable chunks.
I've worked with students from elementary school all the way through college undergraduates.
Look for someone who not only understands computer science, but understands how to teach computer science.
